Old chair in braided chestnut

Very pretty and rare braided chestnut slat chair dating from the late 40s to the early 1950s. Height at the back 92 cm seat diameter 42 cm. Total width at armrests 63 cm. The seat and feet are very solid and very stable. I just point out a small hook in the wood at the join of the left armrest and back rest as well as the stem passing behind which is split. This does not affect its comfort and robustness. This pretty chair is a unique model because braided by hand. There are still relatively few in good condition in our time. To sit or deco rattan, vintage, nature with green plants for a canopy, veranda or whatever else we want. To be adopted without delay for an interior that looks only like you.
