Apple green hand embroidered cushion

Legado celebrates the ancestral know-how of his adopted country, Mexico. We collaborate directly with artisans from different indigenous communities in Mexico and imagine unique pieces in order to breathe boldness and color into your daily life. This cushion is made from the embroidery of the Otomi-Tepehua community, an indigenous community in the state of Hidalgo in Mexico. Inspired by the surrounding nature, the artisans first draw the different patterns and then embroider them entirely by hand. This meticulous work requires long hours of work. The front side is an embroidery made on locally sourced beige cotton. The back side is an unbleached cotton woven in France. The cushion cover is then made in a Parisian workshop. It is closed by an invisible closure and is filled with a silicone hollow fiber cushion. This cushion interior, light and hypoallergenic, guarantees loft and soft comfort. They are made in France. Size: 50x50cm. Don’t hesitate to use “mix and match” by combining different patterns and colors of cushions for a unique and colorful interior. Care: wash in delicate cycle. If ironing is necessary, the use of a placket on the front side to protect the embroidery is recommended. Each piece is unique due to the design and embroidery work.
