French antique Louis Philippe mirror

Antique french 19th century louis philippe style gold gilt mirror with elegant crest and leaf and flower etchings on the frame. This beautiful antique french gold gilt mirror is a typical louis philippe mirror. It has typical rounded upper corners that make it a louis philippe mirror. The mirror has its original mirror plate and wooden back cladding. The gold leaf gilding shows some slight red bole through the gilding, giving the gold color a warm touch. We can note that the mirror and the back are authentic and original and that the mirror is old. The antique mirror has slight imperfections caused by wear and age, but is in a general very fine state. The looking glass is original to this mirror and has a delightful sparkle and distressed worn patches, this is all part of the mirrors authentic look, giving this mirror extra charm.
