"i'm here in paris, currently in my studio. It is quite empty as you can see. Of course, I wanted to do something since the beginning of the lockdown. Not being able to go out made me think, okay, it's not something i'm going to be able to do for a little while. Then I realized how empty the streets are, how people wonder when and how we will be able to get back on the street. But how people look at the street every day from their windows. Maybe I could just paste an image so that suddenly a sidewalk turns into something else. Of course, the pedestrian crossing is a beautiful thing that everyone knows. We have everywhere the same "object" that I wanted to play with. Having an anonymous person looking through, with eyes filled with hope and questions, and just wondering what's going on there. Depending on the situation you are currently in, this image will speak to you differently. Depending on whether you are still confined, if you have to go to work every day, if you have to go to the hospital every day. And that's what I wanted to create, something that speaks to us all. Based on our own narrative, based on what we're going through right now. So for me, if I read this picture, I look at the hope of looking at what is happening on the street as we do every day, looking out the window, when life will return. But, you know, someone else might see differently.
