Stunning and rare Louis Vuitton mail trunk from 1903. This trunk is covered with a monogrammed jacquard woven canvas, louis vuitton's first embassed canvas from 1896 to 1904. Moresque finish, signed metal handles and brass clasps. The initials "ec" as well as the original transport and hotel labels can be found on this trunk. On top is the name e. Caillaud, the destination winnipeg (canada) and the number 1. The interior is complete and in very good condition, with a simple chassis for clothes and a compartmentalized chassis that can accommodate a top hat, collars, ties etc. We find the original label, the key and the serial number.
