Description
This office or workshop chair that must date from the 1950s or 1960s in an industrial style gave me a hard time. It is impossible to know exactly which model it is: ronéo, pullman, nori, strafor or perhaps from a model by mallet stevens. With the "sled" or "sledging" shape of its chrome tube structure, this chair has another feature that should allow to identify it: the seat does not touch the rear studs, it is cantilevered on the front studs! The seat and the back rest are in grey skai. This chair is in its juice, only a careful cleaning: scratches and gaps around the backrest, as well as a cut (2.5 cm) in the middle of the back (front). It lacks a screw on the 4 that maintain the back, but the fixing remains very good. Typical chrome set and rust picketing on the tubular structure (especially at the bottom). Four skates are stuck under the base, I left them in place. The top of the seat has a few small spots and small cuts but above all a gash with a lack (2 cm). The edge of the seat was relatively spared, no scratches on the edges, just two small notches on the right side. It measures 43 cm at the widest (footing) and 49 cm deep (footing). The seat is 46 cm high and the total height is 79 cm. It weighs about 7 or 8 kg.
