Description
The lily-shaped armchair 'getsuen' with a delicate look and balanced lines is a well known 20th century design icon. The chair was designed in 1990. By masanori umeda, one of the members of memphis milano design group, and it was manufactured by italian company edra. It's structured inside is a solid steel skeleton hand shaped and padded with polyurethane foam. Externally the getsuen armchair edra is coated with a soft velvet in light blue colour modeled in such a way as to form a large lily above which can comfortably accommodate. Pure design. The base of edra getsuen armchair is made up of green wheels prompting the stem of a flower that allow the transport with a single touch from environment to environment. The front legs are metal, the rear wheels in the green plt. The condition of the armchair is original vintage condition. There are no structural defects. The velvet fabric shows some traces of tear and wear that come with years. One of the petals, the right armrest, has one large repair area. The rest of the fabric has no external damages, just areas that show some wear marks. Overall condition is good and armchair is in fully functional condition as intended. Materials.
