Triptych e.printz. Dimensions: height: 2006mm, width: 1690mm. (central panel: 600mm, 545mm side panel). Very good condition. From the princess of the tower of auvergne (castle of grosbois). Spectacular modernist mural psyche, circa 1930-1931, forming a large triptych, nickel aluminium frame, wall-mounted central sheet, moving side panel, held by high hinges, external handles allowing tilting or closing the windows. A piece made for the princess of auvergne's fitting room at grosbois castle. In 1920, princess margueritte of wagram commissioned a complete dining room set from eugene printz, which would be presented at the salon des artists decorators that same year. The sister of the princess of wagram, princess elisabeth of the tower of auvergne who rearranged her apartments at the château de grosbois, entrusted her with the layout of several rooms, the entrance, the large and small salons, her boudoir or salon, the bedroom. Some of these works will be presented at the salon des artists decorators in 1930 and 1931.this mirror is part of this original commission. The castle was sold in 1962 to the horse company by the heirs of the princess who kept nothing of the achievements of eugene printz.
