Input console or library

I propose to the adoption the beautiful simone an entrance console or a small library restored and beautiful to the workshop! It's actually the top of a rustic buffet that I turned around! I removed his doors not really jojo! Indeed, they were carved with a cup of fruit and bunches of grapes really more topical! I restored it and sublimated it with love at the workshop to give it a new chance to be adopted! After removing the wallpaper from the bottom and the adhesive paper on the shelves, I applied a xylophene treatment, washed it, sanded it and proceeded to the usual repairs before painting. For the interior, I stripped and then applied lightening to allow the wood to regain its natural color. I chose the khaki green tint of the rust oleum brand but finally after application the shade is lighter than what I had initially planned but so pretty! I sanded the angles and moldings to get a somewhat shabby chic worn effect. I applied golden wax everywhere which really highlights this pretty piece of furniture! For the tray, I painted it with 2 natural shades to get this really nice result! For the finish, I applied high strength matte varnish on the tray and shelves and waxed the rest of the furniture! Please take into account that even refurbished the furniture I propose retain some marks and traces of wear that make their charm! Do not expect smooth furniture without rough edges but furniture of characters proud to be able to shine again!.
