Ashtray on foot art deco 1930 by Demeyere brass chrome

A beautiful ART-DECO ashtray on foot 1930s manufactured by Demeyere in Belgium. Demeyere is best known today for its high quality stainless steel among other kitchen utensils; It was founded in 1908 and in the 1930s, he made some home accessories of high quality (umbrella, ashtrays, coffee tables near, in copper, brass, chrome,...). Very good condition. Bakelite tray has been restored (seen by below but it is not at all from the outside). The upper part incorporating the ashtray and the little tray pivots on the vertical axis. There is a small dent on the chrome base; This is not too much but he had to report. I have indicated by an arrow on the images. The only piece that is not original is the tray inside the ashtray receiver (in case the buyer would really use). The base is cast iron, the rest is in chromed brass, the plateau and the upper part of the ashtray are bakelite. Traces of use common but the object is still very beautiful and chrome are very well preserved. The ashtray will be sent partially disassembled: simply put the pieces on the axial downtube, replace the CAP above the axis as on images and screw the bakelite base tray; nothing complicated.
