Beautiful watercolor of a bridge by the English painter Edmund Phipps (active 1884-1915). He lived in Liverpool and Glan Conwy, County Clwyd. He exhibited several times at the Walker Gallery in Liverpool and the RCA Conwy, North Wales. Watercolor on paper, signed lower right and on the back with the title of the painting, giltwood frame. Dated 1887. Frame dimensions: 107 X 77 cm. Painting: 92 X 62 cm.
