Beautiful and original oil on wood panel depicting a ballerina performing a classical ballet figure, circa 1930. A blend of candor, grace, and modernity, particularly in the treatment of the background and the duality of its flat colors. The wood and stucco frame is original; it has numerous gaps (see photos).
