Set of 'Koehoorn' / ‘cow horn’ chairs by Tijsseling for Hulmefa, 1960s

Beautiful piece of Dutch design from the 1960s: the 'Koehoorn' chair by designer Tijsseling for Hulmefa Pekela. The chair has a solid teak frame with original black skai upholstery on the seat and backrest. The clear and beautifully curved lines form the recognizable 'Koehoorn' /cow horn armrests. They look great in almost any interior. Let them shine, they deserve it! The set is in very good condition, the wooden frame is very tight. Only the seat of one chair unfortunately has a small damage in the skai. We chose not to replace the seat and this is reflected in the price. The set is beautiful and is a very strong Dutch design.
