Bas-relief painting, reproduction of the great stele of the Eleusinian Mysteries, often called "relief of initiation" (discovered at Eleusis preserved at the National Archaeological Museum of Athens) In reconstituted marble. Height: 35 cm. Width: 24 cm. Depth: 1.5 cm. Weight: 3 kg. With aging patina to give it an antique appearance. This large relief, dated between 440-430 BC, is the sanctuary of Demeter at Eleusis. The goddess Demeter holding a scepter while on the right is her daughter Persephone holding a long torch is represented on the left. The center is occupied by Triptolemus.
