A classic of norwegian design - the "kortbenk med tilhengerbord" sofa from the svane combin collection, designed by ilmar relling and haldor vik for the svane ekornes factory and produced in the 1960s. The mattress is made on well-preserved, original springs. The wooden extension can be treated not only as a handy table or storage, but also thanks to it you can easily transform the sofa into a fold-out couch by opening the extension and placing one of the backrest cushions on it. The seat was made anew from a foam spacer, I.e. A high-quality sponge with increased elasticity, and the cushions were preserved in their original condition. They are trimmed with high-quality upholstery material. Wooden extension made of teak wood as well as most of the structure of the sofa. The whole thing has undergone a complete renovation and has been protected with a hard oil and wax resistant to dirt and water. A gem of norwegian design from the communist era. It looks great and immediately attracts attention. The sofa is easy to integrate into the interior of an apartment, studio or workshop. In another auction we also have a matching 'langbenk' chaise longue from the same set, which together form a beautiful part to relax. Additional dimensions: seat: width 134 cm|depth 70cm|height 41 cm. Side table: width 31 cm|depth 68cm|height 41.7 cm. Seat width after unfolding the table 194 cm. The height of the legs is 23 cm.
