Vintage Italian floor lamp – Circa 1970

Rare Italian floor lamp from the 1970s, in the Guzzini style, famous for its iconic mid-century Italian design. Its milky white Plexiglas shade, facing upwards, diffuses a soft and warm light. It rests on a thin white lacquered metal stem and a matching circular base, typical of Guzzini creations of the period. The base has an original patina, adding charm and character to the piece. The lampshade, meanwhile, is in very good condition (slight signs of use) and shines beautifully when the floor lamp is lit. The base has a visible patina; it can be repainted according to taste. The wall socket has been replaced; it is therefore not original, but is perfectly functional. A rare light fixture with an iconic 1970s design, as decorative when switched off as when switched on. Ideal in a living room, bedroom or space with a mid-century, pop, contemporary or space age aesthetic.
