Description
Bauhaus Cantilever armchair, steel tube and curved wood. Published by Thonet between 1932 and 1935 under number B261. It is the work of a French designer: Emile Guillot (1892-1960) The organization of the forces and the overhang is unique and certainly exclusive. The chrome of the tubing is original and in good condition, only traces of friction appear at the points of contact with the ground (underneath). The seat is shaped like a “saddle” for more comfort, and certainly elegance! This armchair was produced in two versions, a standard one with a seat height of 47cm and this one called “relaxation” with a seat height of 42cm. Dimensions: Height: 82 cm - Seat height: 42 cm - Width HT: 52 cm - Depth HT: 56 cm This seat is signed with a stamp in the wood of the saddle. More photos and information on request. For shipping outside Europe, the armrest cuffs and the backrest will be dismantled. Delivery France and Europe or collection Alsace
