Service dessert Digoin Sarreguemines collection "Tambourin" hand-painted

The reputation of the faïencerie de sarreguemines is well established. Here is a delightful dessert service from the former digoin - sarreguemines factory in the "tambourin" collection, a hand-painted décor. A cake dish with 11 plates, stamped on the underside and numbered 18 or 23. The hand-painted decoration is typical of the 50s/60s. The whole decoration is painted in a brush stroke, very japanese in its technique. Light grey brush edge, dark blue petal, a few red lines that suggest the stem and a brushstroke for the leaves. A sublime ensemble, there is almost a movement of wind in the petals, pure poetry! Rare piece, in very good condition, note the traces of wear usual due to time.
