Period: ca. 1920 – 1930 two medium-sized flamed ceramic vases with cobalt blue and greenish colors. One vase is slightly taller and this one also has some orange touches. There are two swirling handles. Two stylized flowers and linear grooves decorate the vases. Stylistically, this falls between art nouveau and art deco. These vases are examples of flemish pottery. Several centers of this type of earthenware were active in parallel in flanders, belgium and it is difficult to attribute the pieces because they were rarely marked. This one is probably from kortrijk or thourhout. Dimensions: 24.5 and 23.5 cm height, ± 12 cm diameter at the widest point condition: very good. No damage.
