Pair of 19th century wooden lion heads

Installed at the top of the capitals at the end of the 19th century, these carved lion heads are of a very beautiful work that will delight lovers of fairground art. The woodwork and the wear of time has given a unique look to this lot that gives it an appearance close to the aged stone. Unrestored, wood breaks do not alter the strength of the rooms, set on a pedestal.
