Lidded gravy boat (or initially table sugar bowl according to 19th century tableware sales catalogs) in old 19th century empire style porcelain decorated with golden threads. Hole on the lid which allows you to put a spoon (a sprinkler spoon was used for this type of sugar bowl). Lid topped with a fruit, perhaps a quince. Handles worked in foliage. Dimensions: 22.5x14.5 cm - height 16.5 cm. This old piece is in good condition, no chips or cracks, very clear gilding not faded. Careful and well protected shipping.
