Steel ceramic coffee table by Robert & Jean Cloutier circa 1950

Very nice lava stone coffee table by robert and jean cloutier dating from the 50s. The glazed lava stone tray is truly unique, the brick red, blood and orange colors are beautiful, and the hollow geometric shapes are inlaid with glass. The frame and legs are made of brushed steel. The legs are screwed and can be detached to transform it into a mural. A unique piece, very decorative, typical of the lava stone work of the cloutier brothers.
