Description
Wolfgang Tuempel 'Odette' desk lamp by Waldmann, New Bauhaus, 1960. Adjustable desk lamp 'Odette' Type TL 218 designed by Bauhaus member Wolfgang Tuempel and produced by Waldmann Leuchten, Germany in the 1962s. two 2 x 8W fluorescent tubes (included). Wolfgang Tuempel (1903-1978) was a Bauhaus designer. His work is represented in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Bauhaus Museum in Berlin. good state of use, complete function, good condition, note: a slight crack on the back of the case of the base of the lamp barely visible (last photo). H: about 43 cm, L: 35 cm, P: 9 cm. 2 neon tubes of 8 watts each.
