Large solid oak wardrobe (renovated)

This large blond oak wardrobe combines the understated elegance of the Directoire style with the bourgeois comfort of the 19th century. Sanded and lightened, it reveals a wood with an expressive, luminous grain that fits well in both contemporary interiors and characterful homes. A true storage piece: two doors, two drawers, and an interior layout designed to last. Materials: solid oak, with golden blond tones. Original brass hardware: lock entries on both doors (key lock), handles on the drawers. Turned solid oak tapered feet. Features: the wardrobe opens with two large double-panelled doors framed, typical of the Directoire repertoire. The straight cornice with a protruding moulding gives the whole a classic architectural line without heaviness. At the base, two side-by-side drawers, equipped with original brass handles, complete the storage space. The interior is fitted with a new upper hanging rail and a lower shelf. The wardrobe locks with a key. Renovation: this wardrobe has been gently sanded to remove its brown, shiny wax and left in raw wood. It has then been thoroughly washed. Dimensions: L155 X D57 X H216.
