Antique Chinese Four-Leaf Carved Wooden Screen

These four large, thick panels feature carved, pierced clover-shaped motifs. The lower sections (on the front) have carved scrollwork, and the upper sections have pierced prosperity cloud shapes. The individual pieces of wood have been joined with rustic, hand-crafted mortise and tenon joints (a sign of age). This is made of extremely heavy wood. These screens are traditionally used as room dividers. This screen was purchased from an elderly gentleman who spent most of his life in China. Condition: Good. No damage. Signs of wear consistent with age. Dimensions per panel: 149 cm high, 48 cm wide, 4 cm deep. When folded, 20 cm deep. NO SHIPPING POSSIBLE DUE TO WEIGHT.
