Superb sculpture vase signed jean linard, in partially glazed la borne stoneware, circa 1970. Structured, sinuous, lively, almost organic, its forms modeled by fingers animated by passion make it a unique piece. Jean linard (1931 - 2010): engraver, painter, sculptor, ceramist, and architect of the "cathedral" of neuvy-deux-cloches, (listed as a historic monument, as "singular art"), in which his dreamlike universe pays homage to gaudi, the postman cheval or even to the maison picassiette of raymond isidore... Husband of anne kjaersgaard, who allowed him to develop his talent as a ceramist, he said: "feel, love, say with the earth things that others will be able to love"... Words magnificently illustrated through the plastic of this splendid object... Excellent condition, small chips on an edge (see photos), signature intaglio at the bottom of the back of the object. Height = 40 cm; width = 25 cm; depth = 22.5 cm weight = 4.350 kg.
