Description
Superb art deco table lamp, in spelter and marble, dating from the 1930s. It represents a squirrel on a tree branch holding a hazelnut between its paws. He has a mischievous look and is absolutely cute! The lamp is signed "molins", it is the sculptor charles-henri molins (1893-1958), known in particular for his magnificent sculptures of women! The opaque glass globe is not the original one. The socket and switch were probably changed in the 1960s. It works with a b22 bayonet bulb (not supplied). Dimensions of the marble base: 16 cm long / 8.5 cm wide. Height of the lamp with the globe: 32 cm (21 cm without the globe). Weight excluding packaging: 1, 640 kg. Good general condition, note: some wear and traces due to age, fine scratches on the marble, some traces on the globe. This lamp will look magnificent on a side table in a living room or on a beautiful old or contemporary desk! Do not hesitate if you have any questions !.
