Golden metal toast door

This old metal toast holder is rarely offered in a golden version, perhaps of english origin. So chic at tea time or on the breakfast table! It can also be diverted into decoration: mail rack in the entrance or elegant sorter on a desk (cards, drawings, pretty papers...). Its base is rectangular, square in section on pine cone feet. The sections for 6 toasts are rounded at the corners. Beautiful condition and patina of its age, dimensions: 18x18x10 cm.
