Important brass bed frame by the Italian designer Osvaldo Borsani and the sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro. A refined piece of mid-century Italian furniture, perfect for any setting. Produced around 1958, the main structure of the bed, designed by Borsani, is made of hammered solid brass with painted steel supports. The brass headboard features a series of intertwined geometric elements in cast solid brass, creating a repetitive pattern of supreme elegance and timelessness, crafted by Arnaldo Pomodoro. The small series of Borsani beds, designed in collaboration with Pomodoro, was produced in various limited editions, each handcrafted by Arredamento Borsani in Varedo, Italy. This series of beds was never put into mass industrial production, a fact confirmed by the archives of Arredamento Borsani.
