Large two-part display case (renovated)

Materials: Solid oak with a beautiful original patina. Features: This early 20th-century display cabinet, with its remarkable dimensions, is composed of two sections. The upper section features a glass-fronted display case with four doors opening onto a green-patinated interior, comprising two single and two double doors. The lower section has two pairs of solid doors revealing ample storage space with a shelf. Each door has keyholes and brass knobs. The cabinet comes with 6 keys for 8 locks, only one of which is not functional. All doors close without requiring a key. Restoration: The display cabinet has been completely and meticulously restored: thorough cleaning with soda crystals to mattify the original varnish, treatment with linseed oil, and then buffed to revive the warmth of the wood; removal of the old vinyl from the lower shelves, followed by a linseed oil treatment; and cleaning of the brass fittings and knobs. Each step was carried out with respect for the wood and its history. Condition: In superb condition. Note that a small piece is missing from the front left leg (visible in the photo).
