Solid walnut kneading table old XIX°

Authentic mixer of the nineteenth century in solid walnut, with its removable top. Top of beautiful dimensions: 149cm long by 71cm wide, discovering an oak storage box (today) 22cm deep, 93cm long and 22cm wide (dimensions of the back board), the table is 74cm high. Solid, stable, rather opulent with its feet of wide sections, its chamfered crosspieces and the horizontal line carved at the top of the feet bring a little lightness to this rustic furniture. Waxed patina, box under the tray mounted with tails of arondes, inside of the sleepers cut with adzes (penultimate photos). Old restorations of uses: a funny one on one foot, dovetail !, old traces of xylophagous insects (treated for safety as always), the tray has many traces, marks, wear, which give it a lot of charm and authenticity, we have deliberately preserved them. Fully pegged furniture, and mixer box screwed to the base (see photos), two legs have worked slightly (knot) and arched, which does not prevent the stability of the whole given the section of the woods used. Its overflowing tray allows a comfortable seat in any case with antique chairs, a low seat height. There is 59cm of height of passage of the legs under the sleepers. Table that can accommodate 4 seats, see 6 being a little tight given the width of the tray. This piece of furniture weighs 48.5kg. Dimensions: 149cm wide, 71cm deep and 74cm high. Ref: 684.
