Table and 4 chairs set from the late 1950s by Finnish Ilmari Tapiovaara. Pirkka model for the publisher Laakan Puu. Table top, seats and backs in solid Finnish pine. The compass feet are in black lacquered beech. This set comes directly from Finland. First edition from this historic publisher. Stamped under the table top and seats. The set is in very good vintage condition. The top, seats and backs of the chairs have been restored. An oil was applied in several layers as a protective varnish.
