Description
Beautiful subject for this rare perpetual advertising calendar of the baby saint bernard designed by pierre probst. It was in albert gerrer's workshop in mulhouse that the first window calendars were created. The window sticker technique consists of printing the advertisement under a window. The window is here mounted on a small plastic box. Four “windows” allow you to see the day of the week, the day of the month (from 01 to 31) and the month, which are printed on strips of paper mounted on rollers. Adjustment is manual using four side knobs. Pierre probst is a french illustrator and writer (1913-2007). He was born in mulhouse and studied at the beaux-arts in mulhouse. He will open an advertising design workshop in lyon. He notably worked for suchard chocolate, creating the emblematic little black dog. Very careful packaging.
