Vintage leather Durlet Model 'Jeep' Modular sofa set, 1970s

Designed by anita schmidt, who has collaborated with durlet since its inception in 1966, this piece showcases the dedication to form, function, and ergonomics that characterize all of her designs. Before becoming final models, each design undergoes rigorous scrutiny to ensure these principles are met. This sofa features five modular seating elements and a 'pouf' upholstered in premium dark chocolate camel-quality leather. This 6-piece sofa comes with an free extra seventh piece, but this one is in need of restoration. Dimensions per element: Height: 66 cm. Width: 75 cm (corner piece: 100 cm) Depth: 100 cm. Good condition, according to age and use. The leather shows a nice patina and also some minor cracks (see photos).
