Description
A pair of Danish armchairs, designed in 1955 by Kai Kristiansen for Magnus Olesen, represent truly iconic Danish design. Model No. 121., because of the shape of the arms, is also known as "Paper Knife Chairs". The frame is made of solid teak with a beautifully sculpted ribbed back. The chairs feature round armrests and a a slightly backward-moved backrest for comfortable seating. The quality is outstanding and showcases the beauty of teak and the mastery of Danish craftsmanship. New re-upholstered cushions in a light gray natural wool harmonize perfectly with the warm color of the wood. It all makes a perfect blend of minimalist and elegant design with a pleasant and inviting aesthetic. The chairs have been checked by our team. In one of the armchairs, new springs were added for comfort. In the other, the original ones are preserved in excellent condition. The wood has been refreshed with professional compounds. The manufacturer's marking is preserved on one chair, confirming the authenticity of its origin. Additional dimensions: Armrests height: 52 cm Seat height: 41 cm We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm its originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering they are 60 years old.
